Two weeks or more may sound like an indulgent time to spend in Perth but with so much to see and explore you will wish you had more time!
Put on your hiking boots and trek the Bibbulman Track, one of the world's great long distance walking trails, stretching 1000 kilometres from Kalamunda, in the Perth Hills, to the historic town of Albany on the south coast. For those looking for more of an aquatic nature experience, you can swim with wild dolphins in Rockingham, snorkel in the many bays at Rottnest Island or simply pick a different beach each day from the 19 pristine beaches available in Perth alone. From March to July, the gentle whale sharks visit the Ningaloo Reef, and wildflowers start to bloom across the state from July.
With more than a couple of weeks to play with your adventures could take you onwards to Broome, Exmouth and Ningaloo Reef or right across the nature packed south west and on to Esperance.
